About Shyftro

My name is Cristian, and for more than 10 years I’ve been working night shifts in London, with 12-hour shifts becoming a normal part of my life.

Working nights for such a long time changed the way my body and mind function. For many people, nights are for sleeping — but for me, night shifts became my normal routine. My brain feels more active and focused during the night, while sleeping during the day became one of my biggest struggles.

Over the years, I dealt with constant tiredness, difficulty sleeping, bright daylight, noise, headaches, and eye strain. Like many other people working long hours, especially night workers, I started searching for products that could genuinely improve my everyday life and health.

That’s when I discovered how much small changes can make a huge difference.

I began using sleeping masks, earplugs, and relaxing sounds like rain or nature noises to improve my sleep quality. These simple things helped me rest better and recover after long shifts.

But one of the biggest problems I developed was light sensitivity and eye strain caused by years of exposure to artificial lighting and screens. It started affecting my daily life with migraines, headaches, and discomfort while using devices or working under strong lights.

Recently, I decided to try protective glasses designed to reduce UV exposure and screen-related eye strain — the same glasses I now sell on Shyftro. Since I started wearing them, I noticed a real difference. I feel more comfortable working on my laptop, my eyes feel less tired, and I feel more productive and active throughout the day.

That experience inspired me to create Shyftro.

I don’t want Shyftro to be just another online store. I want it to be a place where people can find products that genuinely improve comfort, sleep, focus, recovery, and everyday wellbeing — especially for hardworking people who deal with long hours, screens, stress, and demanding routines.

Every product I choose is something I can personally relate to or see real value in.
